Monday K and I made our way to Old Macdonald's Farm for a fun day. K is so into any type of animal these days so she had a complete blast.....especially when she got to ride the "neigh neigh" and feed the "moo moo!"

Too close to home

Many times things happen in the world that are tragic, but there are no ties to it! The events that occurred in Oklahoma hit a little too close to home! The events in Oklahoma are just unimaginable! Not only do our grandparents live there, but so many of my dear college friends live right in the area of devastation. So many thoughts and prayers of safety go out to all of them!








In times like these I really stop and reflect on just how thankful I am for my family and each day god gives us each other. Every day is a precious gift. Tell your loved ones every chance you get you love them! I love every minute with these gifts in my life.....

Maroon and White Game

I decided I needed to start getting caught up on the blog! These are pics that are from my phone that got sent to me. I was unable to attend the A&M Spring Game, so Grumpy, KK, Kevin, and Kinley packed up and headed to College Station for a fun filled day! To say Kinley had a blast would be an understatement. Kristi took awesome pics on my camera which Ill be posting.

BLUEBONNETS

I love Texas for so many reasons....one of them is the beautiful Bluebonnets in the Spring. We have started a tradition, which started last year when Kinley was 6 months old....taking Bluebonnet pics! This year Kinleys 18 months old in the Bluebonnets.

Happy Easter

Easter didn't go as planned this year for our family! Boo!!!!! The week of Easter Kinley came down with the Flu.....even with having the flu shot! Once she started getting better, Kevin came down with the flu, Kristi got Strep, sinus infection, and that all turned into pink eye, then Grammy came down with Bronchitis! Grammy and Kevin had to stay home in bed and Kristi attempted church with Dad, Kinley, and me. I'm happy to say the Easter Bunny visited our house and Grammy and Grumpy's and even hid eggs. The only pics I got were on my phone :-(

Look-A-Likes

I was at my parents house and found a picture of Kristi in their office and thought....."Is that Kinley?" When K was born the doctor asked me who she looked like and without hesitation I told her "my sister!" Although Kinley looks like her Daddy, her baby pics are the spitting image of her Aunt KK, which is good because Kinley thinks her Aunt KK (or as she says "TT") hung the moon. I love how there's a little bit of everyone in her.
